1927
E. W. Stennett opened a small law office on Capitol Street which ultimately became Stennett, Wilkinson & Peden
1932
E.W.'s brother, J.C. Stennett, joined him and firm became Stennett & Stennett
1959
After J. C. Stennett became a Chancery Judge, first Gene A. Wilkinson in 1958 and then Erwin C. Ward in 1961 joined E. W. Stennett to form Stennett, Wilkinson & Ward, with offices in the Barnett Building on South President Street
1970
James A. Peden Jr. joined the firm
1976
The firm moved 100 South Congress Street in downtown Jackson
1987
After the retirement of Erwin C. Ward, the firm's name was changed to Stennett, Wilkinson & Peden
1997
The firm moved to Crane Ridge Drive in northeast Jackson
2005
Stennett, Wilkinson & Peden relocated to Madison County to Legacy Park in the City of Ridgeland
